Ordering Shipping
Product quality, price, and timely delivery are the three most important factors that help you stay ahead of the competition. Here's how ordering and shipping works with Variety Scissors.
Placing Your Order
You can place an order with us in three ways:
Place an order from products already in stock and receive them faster, with minimum order restrictions. Visit our Shop page.
Choose from our entire catalog. Manufacturing time and a quotation are given before assigning the product quantity, when you select and place an order.
For custom items, send us a sketch or image along with your details and we'll quote it for you. Contact us to get started.
Lead Time
If you order a product already available in stock, it's shipped after re-checking and packing once payment is confirmed.
When you order a product made to your specific demand, the manufacturing timeframe is shared while quoting the product quantity — usually 11–15 days for completion of this process. If we have polished and finished items available in our store that match your requirement, but in a different color, the process will be completed much sooner.
Shipping Methods
Products with free shipping reach or exceed our minimum free-shipping order amount. The order is delivered by Express Service or your local Post — this is our cheapest option. Keeping the destination country in mind, the parcel will reach its destination within 10–20 days. If it isn't delivered within the expected period, please contact us.
If you cannot wait 10–20 days and need your parcel sooner, select Standard Shipping. Your order is delivered through a faster courier service, and reaches your destination within 8–15 days, depending on the courier.
If your order needs to be delivered as quickly as possible, select Expedited Shipping. This includes DHL, UPS, and FedEx — though it remains one of the costliest modes of shipping, your parcel will reach you in the least time possible.
One of the most economical modes of delivery for bulk shipments. The delivery time depends on the volume of cargo chosen by the customer, generally 8–15 days for air cargo to reach a specified destination anywhere in the world.
If you are not in a hurry and looking for the cheapest mode of delivery, sea shipment is the best option for you. Minimum delivery time by sea cargo is 1–3 months, depending on your product to be delivered and your desired destination.
Tracking Your Shipment
Instant tracking email
The tracking number is emailed to you instantly once your shipment is dispatched via DHL, UPS, or FedEx. The status updates online within 24 hours — please contact us if it isn't updated within that time.
Economy couriers
When shipped through an economy courier, the tracking number is provided to you online within 24 hours of dispatch, along with the shipment status.
Registered post / sea cargo
The tracking number for items sent via registered post or sea cargo is notified through the post office. There are no carrier-provided online tracking options for these methods.
Shipping Cost
Each shipping company charges differently, based on the point of departure, weight, and dimensions of the package. The first kilogram is usually charged at a higher rate, while the per-kg cost decreases as the total shipment weight added to your order increases. The exact shipping cost for your order is calculated automatically at checkout, based on your destination country and total order weight.
